As part of our commitment to full-spectrum artist development, 2146 Recordings owns and operates The Steep And Thorny Way To Heaven, a boutique showcase venue, live production studio for our bands and artists, as well as a critically-acclaimed west coast hub for touring and regional performers in music, dance, fringe theatre, circus arts, and more.

The venue has been recognized in its own right as a “top place to check out emerging artists” by The Deli Magazine and “a diverse wonderland of art” by international podcast The City Guide, as well as being recognized by Santa Fe’s Meow Wolf as one of the west coast’s top independent venues, and by The Travel Channel’s La Carmina as “A must-see party.”
